Building A Computer!
All the steps you'll need to know so you can build your very own computer.

Board with your piece of junk computer want a better more exciting computer? Then why not buy one? I know what your thinking how am I going to do that you must be crazy, well i'm not it is quite simpel. Building a computer is like riding a bike once you get the hang of it you'll never forget. You look inside a computer and think look at all thoes parts and wires i dont even know what going on this is to confusing, but truth be told its not at all it is a very simpel piece of machenery there are not that manny piece to a computer. so if there arnt that many piece then it can't be to hard to figure out.

Now before be begin building the computer we first need to know what piece to buy. It all really depends on what kind of computer you want. What are you going to be using your computer for? Are you going to be using it at home or in the office or do you like to play video games or do you like to make movies dowload pictures and mess around in photshop or do you just want a computer to check your email and surf the web for time to time and talk to friends. I will show you the all the different piece and you can pick and chose what you want in your computer then put it all together.

Building the computer is the next step in our little adventure here. Once all piece are accounted for we will start to put this computer together piece by piece. First things first get you case and put it on it's side on a tabel or some flat surface were you want to work and open the side pannel. The first piece that will be going into your computer is the Motherboard you want to lay it down face up it should fit right into you computer case take the screws and your screw driver and start to screw in the motherboard to the computer.(look at the mothrboard link for picture step by step help)You dont have to screw all the screw in it is best just make sure the motherboard isnt going to go anywhere. Once the Motherboard is in it will be time to put the CPU in next. Take the CPU out of its box and also i its box there should be some othe stuff with it.( a fan and some glue stuff) the CPU will be going in the big white spot on your motherboard it is prety easy to install it line the marking on the cpu with the ones on the motheboard and it should just go right in. There is a little arrow both on the cpu and on the motherboard just line thoes to up and everything will be a piece of cake.(look at the CPU link for picture step by step help) After the cpu is in we will need to put the fan on next now there should of been a fan that came with your cpu (big black thing) so prety much it just sits right on top of the cpu and there is a piece from the motherboard that latches the fan down and you done. Lets put the RAM (Memory) in next this is really easy to put in. The memory is the long stick looking piece. First the memory is going in the long slot on the motherboard with the little clips it is right next to the cpu undo the clips just push on them and they will unhook then after that take the memory and line if the cut in the memory with it's slot on the motherboard. Set in in its slot them push down on both end at the same time that way in goes in even it should click right in and the little tabs should snap down and hold the memory right in.(look at the RAM link for picture step by step help) Make sure the memory is in all the way or when you turn your computer in wont work. Next we will put in the Hard Drive now depending on your case it will determin were you hard drive goes but most of the time there are slots in the lower front of the case just made for the hard drive. Putting in the hard drive is a piece of cake most of the time the hard drive or the computer case comes with little plastice things what you do with them is you screw them on to the side of you hard drive and then the hard drive will prety much just slide in one of the slot in the case and lock in. (look at the Hard Drive link for picture step by step help) see that wasent so bad now was it. Next we can put in the Video Card this is prety easy. Take your video card and there is a special slot just for it on your motherboard when look at you motherboard when you look at the bottom you will see all the expansion slot well there will be one slot that look different it is at the top and is in a little further in the motherboard that is were the video card goes so just line up the card with the slot and push it in and your done.(look at the Video Card link for picture step by step help) Cd/Dvd Rom the final piece and all the piece will be in the computer. You put this piece in just like the hard drive screw the little plastic things on the side and then the cd dvd rom should just go right in a latch in place then your done.(look at the Cd/Dvd Rom link for picture step by step help). Now that all the piece are in the computer we will hook up all the cords. The video card, hard drive cd/ dvd rom and the motherboard all need power to run the power supply should have a bunch of cords comming out of it most of the cords look the same but there should be one that looks different it should be bigger this cord will hook into the motherboard. (Cord plug in help) then all the rest of the little cords will be pluged into the fans and the other piece of hardwear (hard drive, video card, cd/dvd rom) its done the computer is finished it is all put together all thats left is installing windows.

Operating System

This is easy it's just a step by step follow threw nothing more nothing less but i will still walk you threw it. First we will be using windows xp thats what i know how to us and install and there is nothing wrong wiht it. Windows will coast you some money but you need it to run the computer there is no way around it.
